Fall Decorating can be fun with fall Accents by; Glenn Mast

With the fall season just around the corner, now is the perfect time to be looking for those special decorating accents to bring the fall theme into your outdoor room. Your front entry way or porch space can benefit from the addition of a few fall themed accessories.

Decorating your front door with a wreath made of a variety of fall leaves or dried corn will give it a special seasonal touch.

When putting together a fall theme, a good place to start with, would be to focus on color. Look for fall themed colors like shades of oranges, yellows, reds, and earth tones. Choosing accessories in the pumpkin shades of orange and selecting items and colors that mirror the colors of the changing leaves will really add to you fall decor:

Decorating for the fall season does not have to be only Halloween themes either. Hay bales, collections of apples, gourds, dried corn or even dried twigs can make a beautiful and festive fall display.

You can find lots of great fall themed wreaths, hanging pots, unique wooden planters, and fall colored silk leaves and stems. Arrange them in vases or garden planters for a great looking display.

A nice set of wind chimes will also add to a fall ambiance. To get more ideas to spark your creativity, visit your local craft stores and browse their displays.

The use of natural elements from nature, are great way to give your fall décor a more natural feel: Going for a walk and gathering pinecones and a variety of branches to design your own wreaths and centerpieces. Try to adding a variety of textures and heights to make the display more interesting.

Look around your home and there is chance that you already have accessories that you could use to put fall items on top of them. For example, put your plants on the ground and place small pumpkins on the plant stands.

If you think it's too late in the season for planters, think again. You can sometimes find good deals on perennial plants when greenhouses are trying to clear out their inventory at the end of the summer. Even some annual flowers continue with bright blooms well into the fall.

With just a few themed items you can bring a fall theme to your decor. Have fun with your decorating!
